Hair removal

Hair removal

FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:
  • Unwanted facial hair
  • Unwanted hair on your body.

Unwanted hair growth is one of those things nearly all of us have but would rather not talk about! Nevertheless, as a beauty clinic we deal with many clients with this problem and are completely used to helping both women and men to rid themselves of unwanted hair.

We use three main methods of hair removal. Your therapist will specifically recommend the one which is most suitable for your skin and hair type.

Nordlys IPL

The Nordlys IPL system uses pulsed laser light technology to help us remove unwanted hair safely, effectively and with long-lasting results.

Short, safe bursts of light remove the unwanted hair from all body sites, killing the hair at its root or follicle. And because IPL treats the hair at the skin surface, there’s no waiting to grow hairs to a certain length as with some other treatments.

An extra benefit is that the Nordlys system can help heal and rejuvenate the skin after in-growing hair issues.

EPIL-PRO

Epil-Pro uses sound waves which are transmitted down the hair shaft to its root, destroying the cells at the base of the follicle. It is particularly suitable for sensitive areas like the upper lip, and works well at clearing larger areas of hair growth. The sound wave technology means there is absolutely no risk of burning, pitting or scarring.

Several treatments are necessary as hairs re-grow, and they need to be caught at the correct point in their growth cycle for permanent eradication.

WAXING

Waxing has been around for a long time and most of us are familiar with its pros and cons! Using the warm wax method, regular removal will weaken hair growth and help to soften the skin. Treatments available include:

  • ½ leg (ankle to knee) – 30 minutes
  • ¾ leg – 45 minutes
  • full leg (includes bikini) – 1 hour
  • top leg (includes bikini) – 30 minutes
  • bikini – 15 minutes
  • Brazilian – 15 minutes
  • arm – 15 minutes
  • under arm – 15 minutes
  • lip or chin – 15 minutes.
